This policy explains what information J B C Design & Build Co, a California partnership doing business as JBC Design & Build and California ADU Experts (“JBC,” “we,” “us”) collects through freeaduquote.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you request a feasibility review we collect your name, phone number, email address, property address, whether you own the property, the type of project, your goal, and your timeline.
- Analytics, only if you accept. With your consent, Google Analytics sets cookies that tell us which pages are visited and how people reach the site. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
- Basic page counts. Our website partner records which pages are viewed and that a form was submitted. It records form field names only, never what you type, and it does not use cookies.
How we use it
- To review your property, prepare your feasibility review, and contact you about your project by phone, text, or email, as you agreed when you submitted the form.
- To improve this website and understand which pages are useful.
- To keep records of requests and comply with the law.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us run this site and respond to you: our website and marketing partner, web hosting, our database provider, our email delivery provider, and Google Analytics (if you accept cookies). They may use it only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Texts and calls
If you check the consent box, we may contact you about your project by phone, text, and email. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts, or ask us at any time to stop contacting you.
How long we keep it
We keep project requests for as long as needed to respond to you and follow up on your project, and then for a reasonable period for our business records, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information (we do neither). We will not discriminate against you for using these rights. To make a request, email or call us using the contact details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Cookies and your choices
You can accept or decline analytics cookies in the banner when you first visit. To change your choice later, clear this site’s data in your browser and the banner will appear again. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.
Children
